Where And How You Can Order My Books

To make it clear:

1. if you order a book from the online store it does not involve international shipping. Books are printed in your region -that's how print on demand works.

2. The price of the book should be shown in your own currency.

3. Obviously your local postal rates apply and there are options for tracked, special delivery and untracked (the least expensive) postage from within your region.

Ordered in your region, printed in your region and delivered by the postal system in your region. It could not be more simple.

One important thing to note is that third party sellers will state "post free" and that is a lie. You often pay 30-75% more on a book ordered through a third party seller than from the online store. The reason is because the third party seller HAS to buy from the online store and the selling price usually covers two postal payments -0from store to them and then to you.

People have purchased from third party sellers and not gotten their books or have had to wait over a month for them to arrive. At that point they contact me and it is all very simple: they tried to rob me of a sale and bought a book at a far more expensive price because they read "post free". That is important because if you buy from a third party seller you are removing the small profit I make on a book. Also, ordering from the online store is not just cheaper but, even though it has never happened since I started selling in 2009, I can actually look into why you have not had your book delivered. Third party seller -your tough luck.

Support the creator and publisher not third party scammers.

I have asked to clarify which countries books can be ordered from as I know someone in Hong Kong and China were interested and it looks like you can order from there. According to the print company:

Tower Tales

Right. I am still alive. I checked by holding a mirror over my mouth this morning. It was awkward as it is attached to a wardrobe but it confirmed I was still alive.

This is my second dose of covid and I am sure I must have miss-heard as it is definitely "not a laugh" (was the person who said that being sarcastic?).

Anyway, it means that projects have been delayed. The re-launch of Black Tower Super Heroes with volume 3 number 1 and "The Year of the Werewolf" will be slightly delayed as I need to draw the last five pages and then its the lettering. Vol. 3 no. 2 Parallel Motions is ready but requires lettering and Tower Tales -after a VERY long delay (again due to last year's covid taking months to get over)- will appear as it is complete.

After that it's the D-Gruppe Return From Lost In Space and....well, I think that's enough.

So, hang in there, kids!

Dilworth -Tales of Urban Life: The Teacher's Tale

A lost one-pager from Mr Ben Dilworth. This from 1991 and I found it in some old Fleetway correspondence so no idea whether it was from when I schlepped around publishers with artists portfolios or not.

That said....the story is as relevant today as it was....whatever number of years ago!

The Silvermaigne line is said to go back to the time of the Ancient Britons.

Silvermaignes ancestors were part of a druidic clan based in the great forest that is today known as Leigh Woods, overlooking the River Severn entering (today) Bristol. All the members of the tribe had white hair from birth and they were known as the mwng arian (Silver Manes). Even the druids bowed to their knowledge of demons, spirits and things of the darkness.

But at a point several centuries ago the family split and took two paths -one embraced magik for its own fight against evil. The other renounced the use of personal magik so as not to become tainted and seduced by it.

For the first time Ben Dilworth looks at the latter branch of the Silvermaigne family and what one of them endures to keep the fight Holy!

The Comic Pages Lasted Longer Than My Hair

Hmm. I opened an art file and this fell out! This was in chunkier days (and I had hair!!!😭😭😭). Oh my lovely locks.

Anyway, I also know that the page on the drawing board was from Parallel Motions which went to various publishers and had various disasters and which and 31 years later (photo from 1993) I am incorporating that into The Ultimate Game which should be in Black Tower Adventure vol 2 #2

the fourth issue of BTSH is here and it is so crammed full of eye boggling action that we had to use adamantium staples to keep it all together! Kotar, Sabuta along with Tarot and Lady Silvana face the werewolf while the Zero Heroes are in a church surrounded by zombies and what happens to "the other guy" at the end...I'm asking -what happened? Jack finds that he could have had a fatal dose, while The Trial continues and the mystery deepens. There is more -much much more! Blue Saviour is the cover star and a tribute to creator David A. Johnson who brightened up Bath comic marts with his Blue Saviour, Madame Mystery and Enigma comics! COMICS ARE FUN!

Krakos:Sands of Terror!

Created by William A. Ward for Swan Comics in the 1940s,Krakos was one of Ward’s supernatural anti-hero types. Used,with Swan’s permission,in Black Tower Adventure strips in the 1980s/1990s,this is the character’s first solo outing. But will Krakos fulfill the Goddess Isis’ dream and become the new pharoah of a New Egyptian Kingdom that will encompass all of the Middle East? Did anyone actually ask Krakos? The book contains information on Ward and his work plus sample pages rescued after 60 years of neglect!
