That Time In 1987 When The Avenger and Purple Hood Were in the Sewers -More Pages

The Avenger had teamed up with international crime fighter the Purple Hood a couple of times -the first was when both "bumped into each other" while tracking down Intercrime in 1985. Terror Tunnels took place down in the sewer system below Bristol after a series of grisly deaths.

The sewerage network in Bristol, UK is made up of thousands of kilometres of sewers, pumping stations, and water recycling centers. Wessex Water manages the sewerage system for Bristol and the surrounding area. 

And....while looking for some D-Gruppe pages I found page 1 of the story plus page 4. It must be Christmas!

Sean Feerick sort of vanished after this along with the pencils to part 2 so the story was never completed and at that point in time I had a big health concern so tracking him down did not seem that important.

What I will say is that despite the clearing out and burning of 30+ years comic papers/art a few years back I have no idea how these pages never met flame.  Still, although the art aint that great (thank goodness for the computer and  being able to add that to strips rather than  the old method (French creator Moebius once told me that "the artist should letter his own work as it is part of the organic process of creating" -he thought I was kidding when I said "not with my hands" though he did like my use of black and white)
