A Look At The Black Tower British Golden Age Books!

To me these books were a work of love!  They had to be otherwise why did I spend so much money buying copies of the originals and more months than I care to think of working on the pages?  Insanity might cover it.

For the first time in 60 years some of the lost gems of the British Golden Age of Comics are reprinted!

Scanned and cleaned to the best standard possible: most of the comics were printed under war time ink and paper restrictions so quality varied –as it did in the immediate post-war period.

Each book has a mix of humour, action and, yes, super heroics as well as occasional text features.  So which characters appear in this six issue run? Deeep breath:

Ace Hart
TNT Tom
Electrogirl
Wonderman
The Phantom Raider
Captain Comet
Acro Maid
Phantom Maid
Dene Vernon
The Iron Boy
The Boy Fish
Professor Atom
The Tornado
Powerman
Wonder Boy
Slicksure
Masterman
Dane Jerrus
Alfie
Tiny Tod
Maxwell The Mighty
Back From The Dead
Zeno At The Earth's Core
