Going back to the early 1990s and the comics I am currently struggling to redraw and update, I wanted a novel sort of "in this issue" opener but then thought that the first page of each issue needed something.
So issue 1 had a large "1" with characters from that issue in it. That page is long gone but I found the piece for the second issue.
